'Welcome' has been written by students at Taradale Primary School in Central Victoria, Australia. Students have been exploring why people write songs, as well as the power of songs. We wanted to write a song as a gift to children who are seeking asylum, are refugees, or newly arrived in Australia.

The song is a welcome song to show Taradale Primary School's support of asylum seekers and to share the Taradale School Song's motto, which is 'everyone is welcome here'.
